Beijing - Ming Tombs and Great wall

The Ming Tombs cover an area of about 40 square kms, and 13 tombs of Ming Emporers are found there. It's about an hour north west of Beijing and we went up here on out second day on the way to the great wall. Didn't take too many photos here mainly due to the fact that the battery on the camera ran out. Luckily we have two cameras, I was thinking it would just my lucky that we get to the great wall in the afternoon and the other camera battery runs out, how cool would that be.
In the main hall at the Ming tombs there was display of all the artifacts that were removed from one of the tombs, here's us walking around the main hall.
Here's us at the top of the section of the great wall at the Jugony pass, as you can see the camera batery didn't go flat. This a bit of hike after the whisky we had for lunch. I think there ws some like 1000 steps, which doesn't sound too much but when some of them are 40 - 50 cm high it makes it a bit of a climb.
Here's a view from the top looking back down from where we came.
Here's an indication of how steep some of thesteps were, these are the steps the the top of the highest turret.
Here's a view from one of the guard turrets.
This is how steep it was, I couldn't get a clear shoot looking down without getting my fat guts in the way, this may have something to do with all the eating.
Here we are bck down at the bottom having our photo taken in front of some historical weapons. The boys did ask if they could play with them, .....I don't think so.
Here's a view looking back up where we came from, you may need to adjust the brightness, looked ok on the camera.
