A quick update about what we've been up to, Mum and Dad sold the pub earlier in the month so they're in the process of moving their stuff into storage. We went down to see them just after they moved out of the pub. They are hoping to get up our way by the 18th, here's a pic of them and the boys outside the pub. On the way home from Norsewwod we went via New Plymouth to visit Alison's grand parents, it was Alison's grand mothers 79th birthday. On our way to New Plymouth we stopped at the wind turbines near Palmerston North. These turbines are about 70 metres tall and the tips of their blades travel at about 3 - 400 kph and have a peak power generation of 1.6Mw (enough to power 900 homes each). I need to get a bigger section so I can have one.

While at New Plymouth Uncle Justin took the boys for a spin on a four person bike down the seaside walk way. It was a great day and the boys and Justin got some excercise, I think Justin had to do most to the pedaling.
That's about it for now. I did spend yesterday making this cork board out of corks from wine bottles, I only need another 46 to finish it, this means another 46 bottles of wine drink, oh well it's a hard life. Till next time, have fun, the Cradz.

Haven't been up to too much this month, really need to get in the habit of making entries into this a bit more regularly ( to remember it's not homework).
The month started with a little wine trail around the mountain starting with a champanye breakfast at Ironique in Te Aroha followed by beers and wine at Te Pio, top of the Kaimai's , Mills Reef, Morton Estate, Ohinemuri, the Cri in Paeroa, Kumars in Paeroa, finishing with shots at the Te Aroha Club. It was a big day but I can't really remember too much after the getting in the van at Ohinemuri. I had "Indain" hot curry at Kumars and paid for it for the rest of the weekend. Photo below shows us drinking some classy bubbly at the top of the Kaimais.

Also during March we had Cory's (Lucy's youngest) birthday party up in Auckland, Mum and Dad were up there on some gambling conference junkit. We met them at the Casino and went across the road for dinner, Alisons' oldest sister (Raeline) met us there with Ben and Sienna. We all had a good night, Lucy went home that night, We stayed the night and travelled home in the morning.

Alison and I also had the college reunion this month, which was good. About 12 people out of our year were there and it was good to catch up and get some stories straight. I was shocked to find one of the stories I had been telling for 20 years could be wrong, but the evidence stacks up against me.

Finished the month spending a night at the caravan at Coromandel, didn't go fishing but did play golf.
That's about it for this issue, I'll try not to leave to long for the next installment.
