We had an awesome steak meal at the Steakhouse at our hotel last night, and couldn't finish the dessert so took it back to our room and had it for breakfast before we left in the morning. Yum!!
We weren't doing anything in particular today, just heading south towards Tennessee. We stopped at Cabellas which is a sports store. It was absolutely amazing, everything you could think of for hunting and fishing (fresh water) was there! They had an aquarium and animal displays that were incredible for a shop! Here's a couple of photos.
We also stopped at a "display" farm in Indiana but they were having a country and western concert, so we didn't stay long. We just did a bit of cheese tasting and had an icecream.
We were tired of driving on the freeway, so we took some "country roads" through Kentucky. It was very scenic, beautiful country side. We drove to Franklin and stopped at the first motel we saw. Unfortunately it was a bit of a dive, but it was okay, we survived! We had KFC for tea, because we were in Kentucky of course! Something that we had never seen was a KFC buffet, we didn't get it but we should have as it was all you could eat! Not that we needed to eat that much!
